Well, I haven’t posted in several months, and not a lot has changed in America. People are still being killed during mass shootings, Black teen males are still killing other Black teen males, and the local political world is a hot mess.
I have been busy for since April completing finance reports as Justin had to run for his seat again. And he will be running again for his seat in January 2024. We will elect a new Mayor in August, and a zoo of people are running for the position. I am hoping that Matt W. wins, but time will tell.
I attended the funeral of Barbara Echols, it was nice to see my step-uncles and catchup (somewhat) with what is going on in the Echols family. It would have been nice if we could have kept in touch over the years.
I am still teaching online, but I am crunched for time due to the campaign stuff. But I will do what I need to do on Sundays for the time being. Mama is still hanging on, she turned 96 back in May. I am planning on going to Arkansas for Charles and Edna’s 50th wedding anniversary. I still have not got on an exercise schedule yet, but I am working on it.
Well, got stuff to do.
