Daily Thoughts

Upon returning home from the 50th anniversary celebration of Edna and Charles, it dawned on me that I only have 18 first cousins on the Bell side and 3 first cousins on the Neal side. I also found out that GW (Aunt Willie’s son) died back in July. Our Bell family is not close or connected. But I made a promise to Rita that we will remain in touch and talk to each other at least once a week.

Politics is back on the menu. Yes, President Biden will run for reelection, and it is up in the air as to who will win the GOP nomination. There is so much corruption within the GOP that America is falling apart. Nazi groups are demonstrating on a weekly basis with their “Jews will not replace us” rhetoric, and some white men are killing People of Color because of their hate for people who don’t look like them. I still don’t understand how people blindly follow Trump, but I also don’t understand the concept of cults and how people get tangled up in them.
