Daily Thoughts

The Nashville-Davidson County Mayoral General Election was won by Freddie O’Connell. We also saw the first “transgender” individual win a council-at-large seat. And yes, you can tell the individual is “transgender”. In my personal opinion transgender individual don’t look normal. There is always something odd about their appearance. For this particular individual, he wears way to much make-up to maintain his female look.

Another first for our council, it is dominated by females. And based on what I know about the females seating in those seats, I don’t look forward to the next four years of the O’Connell Administration. I pray that I am wrong, but I see Nashville-Davidson facing an over-spent budget which will put Nashville-Davidson County government in a financial crisis, again I pray that I am wrong.

I completed a community service event with the Nashville platoon, and I look forward to working with them again in January. It was a very interesting experience. The platoon leader is great and makes everyone feel welcomed. I returned to church on Sunday, and I am going to try to attend at least 3 Sundays per month.

Mama is having a lot of bad days lately, and she is starting to not want to eat. My goal is to get her to eat a large breakfast, and I won’t worry much about the rest of the day. Overall, the past week was very uneventful, which is good for me.
