I announced at the Davidson County Executive Board meeting that I will be running for the TN-District 5 US House of Representatives seat.

I have my EIN for my campaign, established my ActBlue account. My bank Fifth Third is dragging their feet in releasing my account.

I had no clue as to what is required for running for a federal position. I did establish my Statement of Campaign, but I need to take a day and review the FEC.gov website site.

I met with an individual who is heavy into local politics, and I was not comfortable with her suggestions as to how I should pursue this endeavor.

I have so much to learn.
