I went to tailgate at the APSU homecoming. A good time was had. We spoke that many of us had been friends for 50+ years, what a blessing.
Yes, I saw him, A.B., he looked old, tired, and significantly overweight, but the feelings are still there. We really could have been a great couple, but for reasons unknown, he just could not commit. He even said he would call, yep got my hopes up, but the call never came. I almost went back over to the Kappa area, but then I turned around and walked to my car. I am proud of myself, because I didn’t make the call or send a text. Those few moments we stood next to each will be what I will carry forward.
